Yes. When the package is delivered, e-mail notifications will be sent to all specified e-mail addresses with a link to the most current package information.
21. Can I upgrade the service level of my shipment while in route?
No. Once your shipment leaves, you may not upgrade the service level.
22. Do I also need to provide the shipment dimensions?
You only need to provide package measurements for international shipments as they are based on weight and dimensions.
23. Does weight have to be accurate or can I estimate?
Yes, shipment weight needs to be accurate because your shipping charge is based partly on weight. If your shipment is inaccurately weighed, it is subject to being re-weighed by the carrier which could result in an additional charge. Re-weighing may also delay delivery.
24. How do I know if dimensional weight applies?
If the actual weight of your shipment is less than the calculated dimensional weight, the dimensional weight applies. Carriers determine freight charges based on either the gross weight of the shipment or the dimensional weight, whichever is greater.
25. How do I calculate my dimensional weight?
L x W x H (cubic inches) / 166 = Dimensional Weight.
Example: 30" x 24" x 22" = 15,840 / 166 = 96 lbs. (round up to the nearest pound).
26. Do you guarantee transit time on my shipment?
ETT - Estimated Transit Time, i.e. a time slot between ETD - Estimated Time of Departure and ETA - Estimated Time of Arrival in sea freight quotes are not precise and should be verified upon a booking request. Transit time in booking confirmations on shipment by sea cannot be guaranteed as well. Although ocean freight can not guarantee transit time, normally shipments depart and arrive as scheduled.
